Find the Right Pillows for Your Collection
A pillow collection needs clear differences between models. Choose each product by its intended use, core construction and cover, then refine the details through sampling.

For example, a sleep brand may begin with a contoured memory foam pillow and add a body pillow as a complementary product. A home-comfort retailer may prioritize reading pillows, where fabric appearance and the size of the finished pack are important buying considerations.

Customize the Pillow from Core to Cover
Private labeling can start with an existing pillow and your branded packaging. For a more distinctive collection, our OEM/ODM service can also address the pillow’s shape, structure, filling and finish.
Core, Shape and Feel
Discuss dimensions, loft, contour and firmness alongside the intended use. For memory foam designs, specify density and firmness separately so the sample brief captures both requirements.
For filled pillows, the filling material, fill weight and construction belong in the specification. If adjustable loft is part of your concept, include the filling-access design and instructions in the development brief.
Covers and Finishing
Cover development can include fabric composition, texture, color, printing, piping and zipper construction. Removable covers can also be incorporated where suitable for the model.
Choose the cover together with the core. The finished sample should be assessed as a complete pillow, including its feel, appearance and fit after the cover is fitted.
Labels and Retail Presentation
Bring your branding into the woven label, care label, hangtag, insert and retail packaging. For US and European programs, share the destination countries, required languages and barcode requirements at the start of development.

Wholesale Supply for Different Sales Channels
Private-label and DTC brands
Develop a recognizable product with a defined feel, cover and presentation. Include the unboxing experience, product instructions and fulfillment requirements in the sample review.
Importers and distributors
Build an assortment with clear model specifications and quantity breakdowns. Identify which products share materials or packaging, and confirm the requirements for each SKU before consolidating the shipment.
Bedding retailers and home stores
Compare pillows by shape, feel and intended use. Plan packaging that helps customers understand these differences, with consistent naming and specifications across the collection.
Hospitality buyers
Discuss the intended housekeeping process before choosing a model. Cover washing, core care and replacement requirements should be reviewed against the selected pillow and evaluated through samples.
Approve the Sample Before Bulk Production
The approved sample gives your team and the production team a shared reference for the order.
For an existing model, sampling can focus on the selected materials, comfort preferences and branding. A custom design may also require drawing review, shape development or a new mold.
Before approval, review:
- Finished dimensions, loft and overall shape.
- Feel and support with the selected cover fitted.
- Filling distribution or foam-core appearance.
- Seams, zippers, labels and cover fit.
- Care instructions and relevant washing checks.
- Retail packaging, barcode placement and carton layout.
- Recovery after unpacking if compression packing is selected.
Record agreed specifications alongside the approved sample, including any tolerances and inspection requirements. Sample timing and bulk production scheduling are confirmed for the selected model, materials and customization.
Plan Packaging Around the Product and Delivery Channel
Packaging affects presentation, handling and shipment planning. A pillow intended for store shelves may need a different pack from one sold through an online fulfillment channel.
Kingworth supports retail boxes, branded inserts, labels and export packaging, with compression-packing options reviewed by product.
For a compression-packed pillow, include unpacking and recovery in the sample evaluation. Assess the final dimensions, appearance and feel after the agreed recovery period, then confirm the pack format for production.
For bulk shipments, agree on the unit pack, carton quantity, carton dimensions, shipping marks and gross weight. For marketplace orders, provide your current barcode and fulfillment requirements with the packaging brief.
Quality Checks for Your Pillow Order
Our quality-control workflow covers incoming materials, production, finished products and packing. The checks for your order should reflect the chosen pillow and the approved specification.
Depending on the model, inspection points can include foam or filling specifications, fabric color, finished dimensions, stitching, zipper operation, label accuracy and packaging.
Share any testing or certification requirements during the inquiry stage. We can review the documentation applicable to the selected materials and product, and discuss additional testing needed for your project.
