Cervical & Contour Pillows

Cervical & Contour Pillows for Wholesale Buyers

Build a differentiated pillow collection with Kingworth’s cervical and contour designs. Choose from dual-height profiles and butterfly-shaped memory foam pillows, with customization for the core, cover and branded packaging. We work with sleep brands, importers and bedding retailers to turn product requirements into approved samples. Start with an existing contour or share a drawing to explore a new shape for your collection.

Compare the Contour Before Choosing the Model

Cervical pillows use a shaped surface to create distinct areas for the head and neck. The outline, height and feel of those areas help distinguish one model from another.

For wholesale selection, compare the complete profile rather than choosing by appearance alone.

Design Construction to review Details for your sample brief
Wave or dual-height contour Raised edges with a lower section between them Both edge heights, center height, curve depth and overall dimensions
Butterfly contour Shaped center, side wings and cutouts where included Center dimensions, wing height, shoulder-facing edge and any arm recesses
Custom contour A profile developed around your drawing or reference sample Measurement points, intended orientation, core specification and fitted-cover design

A dual-height model gives your collection a straightforward shape to explain through a side-profile diagram. A butterfly design offers more distinct features, making clear product photography and orientation instructions especially useful.

Kingworth’s range includes a slow-rebound butterfly pillow and a contoured pillow with a cooling cover. Use these as starting points for comparing profiles, materials and customization.

Make Pillow Height Easy to Understand

A single maximum-height measurement does not describe the whole contour. Buyers also need to understand where the raised and recessed sections sit.

For each selected model, establish a dimension drawing showing:

  • Overall length and width.
  • Higher and lower edge heights, where applicable.
  • Height at the center resting area.
  • The position and depth of relevant recesses.
  • The shoulder-facing edge and intended product orientation.

Measure the foam core and the finished pillow consistently, and identify which measurement appears on the specification sheet.

For reference, our current slow-rebound butterfly model lists dimensions of 65 × 42 × 13/10 cm, while another butterfly model lists 60 × 36 × 12 cm. These are individual product references; final dimensions and measurement points are confirmed for the selected order.

For a collection with multiple sizes, explain the actual height differences on the packaging and product pages. This gives customers more useful information than size names alone.

Develop the Feel Alongside the Shape

A distinctive contour still needs the right finished feel. During sampling, review the core, liner and outer cover as one assembled product.

Your brief can address three separate decisions:

Profile
Which areas should be higher, lower, wider or more recessed? Mark the requested changes on a drawing or reference sample.

Feel
How should the selected foam feel compared with your reference? Record the agreed foam specification and sample feedback instead of relying only on descriptions such as “soft” or “firm.”

Cover fit
How closely should the cover follow the contour? Review tension, seam placement and fabric gathering around curves and recesses.

For comfort evaluation, record the intended use and the conditions under which samples are compared. Gather feedback on the complete pillow before choosing the final version for your range.

Select a Cover That Follows the Contour

The cover should communicate the shape clearly and remain practical to remove, refit and care for.

Kingworth supports cover development across fabric composition, texture, color, panel construction and branding. Selected designs can be reviewed with cooling-cover options or other textile finishes appropriate to the project.

For shaped pillows, pay particular attention to:

  • Panel layout: How the fabric follows the raised edges and center.
  • Seam position: Whether seams sit where intended when the cover is fitted.
  • Zipper access: Whether the core can be inserted and removed without excessive force.
  • Post-wash fit: Whether the cover retains its agreed dimensions and shape after the specified care procedure.
  • Additional pillowcase fit: How the product looks and feels with the pillowcase your customers are expected to use.

Confirm care instructions separately for the outer cover, liner and foam core. A washable outer cover does not establish that the complete pillow can be washed.

If replacement covers are part of your collection, specify their model compatibility and labeling at the same time as the original product.

Adapt an Existing Contour or Develop Your Own

Existing-Model Private Label

Choose a current shape and focus development on the foam specification, cover, color, labels and packaging.

This provides a clear starting point for sample comparison. Our team can review which modifications are compatible with the existing design and identify changes that would require additional development.

Custom Contour Development

For a new profile, submit a drawing, physical sample or annotated concept. Include the required dimensions and explain which sections you want to change.

Our OEM/ODM service supports shape development, sample preparation and mold discussions. The core and fitted cover are reviewed together so that changes to one component are reflected in the other.

Before development begins, agree on the prototype stages, tooling costs, mold ownership, usage terms and expected quantities. Exclusivity requirements should also be included in the project agreement.

Turn Sample Approval into a Repeatable Specification

An approved sample should be supported by a clear record of what your team accepted.

For cervical and contour pillows, the approval record should cover:

Checkpoint What to record
Core geometry Dimensions at defined points, contour and permitted tolerances
Foam specification Agreed material requirements and reference feel
Finished cover Composition, color, seams, closure and fit
Appearance Acceptable surface finish and workmanship
Packing Unit pack, carton specification and unpacking instructions
Product information Model name, dimensions, care instructions and label artwork

Keep subjective comfort feedback separate from measurable inspection requirements. Both are useful, but a production inspector needs defined criteria for accepting a batch.

If compression packing is selected, include a packaging trial. Review the recovered contour, measured heights and cover appearance after the agreed unpacking period.

For repeat orders, use the retained sample and specification as the reference. Proposed material or construction changes should be reviewed before production.

Help Customers Choose and Use the Product

A shaped pillow benefits from clear product information. Plan a top-view image, a side-profile dimension drawing and a simple orientation guide for each model.

Show which edge faces the shoulders, identify height options and explain any removable components. Use the same model names and measurements on the retail box, instruction insert and online listing.

For your marketing copy, focus on the product’s demonstrated construction, materials and comfort features. If your project requires a particular performance claim, include it in the development brief so the supporting evaluation can be considered.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which cervical pillow shapes can I source from Kingworth?

Our range includes dual-height contour designs and butterfly-shaped memory foam pillows. Browse the current models to compare their profiles, or send a drawing for a custom-shape review.

2. What is the difference between a wave pillow and a butterfly pillow?

A wave pillow typically has raised edges and a lower section between them. A butterfly pillow uses a shaped outline with side wings and a defined center; recesses and cutouts vary by model. Compare dimension drawings and samples to understand the differences.

3. Can I order a different pillow height?

Height changes can be reviewed for the selected model. Depending on the design, the change may require a different core, revised tooling and a new cover pattern. Specify which measurement points need to change.

4. Can loft and firmness be customized separately?

Yes. Include loft and firmness as separate requirements. We review the requested shape and foam specification, then use the assembled sample to confirm the intended result.

5. Will a contour pillow fit a standard pillowcase?

Fit depends on the pillow’s dimensions, profile and the pillowcase construction. Test the intended pillowcase on the finished sample, particularly around wings, raised edges and recessed areas. A fitted cover can be developed for the selected shape.

6. Can the cover and retail box carry my brand?

Yes. Private-label options can include woven labels, care labels, cover details, hangtags, inserts and retail packaging. Provide your artwork, preferred label positions and packaging requirements during the brief stage.

7. How should my team evaluate samples?

Review dimensions, contour, finished feel, cover fit and workmanship against the brief. Record feedback under consistent conditions and approve the final specification alongside the sample. Include washing or compression-packaging checks where relevant.

8. Can I combine different contour pillow models in one order?

Mixed-model orders can be reviewed. Send the quantities, colors and customization for each model so we can confirm individual production requirements and shipment arrangements.

9. What is the MOQ for private-label cervical pillows?

MOQ depends on the selected model, materials, colors and packaging. An existing shape and a new custom-mold project may have different requirements. Share your quantity breakdown for a project-specific quotation.

10. What information is needed for a custom contour quotation?

Send a reference model, drawing or sample, together with dimensions, preferred feel, cover requirements and estimated quantities. Include your destination market, packaging brief, requested documentation and target delivery date.
